This elongated, narrow cast aluminum table leg deign was inspired by a set of 1960s chair backs I repurposed on the Spalted Maple and Spalted Myrtlewood coffee table pieces.

The Stiletto legs give the illusion of the table top floating above an unseen mount, with a slight taper in two axis. This creates a sense of fragility, yet the shape is actually a very strong support arch.
