A 1930's oak Catholic church pew gets a second life as a designer chair on a custom steel frame with gun metal patina.

When a Portland, OR Catholic church came to me to purchase their old pews so they could purchase chairs, I offered this inexpensive solution - to dissect the old pews and give them a new life as a chair that functions like a pew when placed side by side.

The second generation of my pew chair concept locks the chairs together to recreate a near seamless single pew once again.
