This is a stunning example of Black Walnut. As you can see, when this species wood dries, the color bleeds and we lose the incredible, rich qualities of the original. But all is not lost!

Our talented surfacer was able to bleach the sapwood and reintroduce the original color to the center grain, to create this stunning table that sits delicately on a set of custom (and incredibly strong) V-legs, shown here in chrome.
